Zion City Network supports churches with resources, coaching, and community to help them thrive and grow in their mission.
The Zion City Network exists to build meaningful relationships with pastors to equip them to fulfill the measure God has given them. Our mission is to develop the necessary systems, support, and resources to deepen their emotional health, spiritual growth, and practical skills. Our aim is to invest in churches that desire to help people encounter God and transform culture.
Waylon and Dana Sears serve as the Senior Pastors of Zion City. Their heart is to see people restored holistically: spiritually, physically, emotionally, and relationally. They know that free and whole individuals will become the Church that the community runs to, not away from. They are excited about leading such a church and seeing the power of God transform the culture in Tucson and the surrounding region.
Waylon and Dana have been married for over 30 years and have been in ministry together since 1992. They moved to Tucson as youth pastors and faithfully served for more than twelve years before transitioning into the Senior Pastors in 2017. They have four incredible children who all live in Tucson and are a part of Zion City.
Ryan serves as the Network Pastor at Zion City and is dedicated to empowering churches to fulfill their calling and achieve their full potential. He and his wife, Nicole, have been happily married since 2007 and have been actively serving in ministry since 2008. In 2013, they joined Zion City, where they have taken on leadership roles across various areas, bringing their passion and commitment to every endeavor.
Ryan has a heart for building strong, thriving communities of believers and is passionate about equipping others to walk in their calling. He believes that a healthy church is not only essential for individual growth but also impacts the greater community.
As Network Pastor, Ryan oversees the expansion and development of Zion City’s network of churches, providing support, resources, and guidance to help each church reach its unique potential. He believes that by working together and supporting one another, churches can have a greater impact on the world around them.
We believe that as the Senior Pastor is healthy and equipped with relationships, resources, and systems they are positioned to experience growth and the joy that ministry can bring. We relate best to Senior Pastors and their church who want a team around them to help fulfill the vision God has given them.
